Neil Oliver has undertaken numerous commissions over the years to Seal Engrave pieces of jewellery for our customers.

Neil has been doing our "top" or "best" work for many years now... His skills as a "deep" or seal engraved are in our opinion second to none.

I believe that Mr. Oliver is one of the finest craftsmen in the UK. He is certainly one of the most personable.

Henry’s signet ring arrived safely on Saturday morning and we are truly delighted with it. It looks, and feels, absolutely great – many thanks indeed to you both for the time and care you took to make sure we were happy with everything. Together with the seal and certificate it makes a wonderful commemoration for Henry’s 21st Birthday and we hope he will enjoy wearing it for many years to come and maybe one day give it to his own son.

On Saturday we are heading for Islay, where Henry is currently staying with his godfather. His birthday is on 1st September so shortly after that I will let you know about the size – there will be no doubt about his reaction to the ring! With luck it will fit perfectly – if not we will let you know and discuss any adjustments needed.

There are craftsmen that are great technicians but their work has no soul; Then there are craftsmen who are also artists and take their skills to a higher dimension. Neil is one of these very rare people. I hold him in the highest esteem and consider him to be one of Britain’s finest engravers. 

The engraved glasses are a real treat and I am absolutely delighted with them- I haven’t had such glamorous glass since my “New England” goblets in 1941! Three cheers for the Olivers, happy 2005. 

My son is delighted with the ring and will, I hope, look after it well. It is a wonderful piece of craftsmanship.
